Day 3: Bozeman, Montana

We drove to Bozeman after the KOA. We decided not to go back to Yellowstone and instead go and get rested here. We stayed at the Western Heritage Inn. Before we could check in, we saw a sign advertising for the Museum of the Rockies. We knew what we could do to kill some time before check in started.

An oh so happy Samuel (sarcasm intended), a very excited Joseph (no sarcasm, just the truth), and a tired Joe (true yet again) in front of the Museum. It was worth it. I was sad because my camera died when we got to the kid section.

Joe and the boys looking at a display. In Joseph's opinion, it was much bigger than our dinosaur museum in Utah (even though we told him the one at Thanksgiving Point is the largest in the world).

Joseph was very excited to see the various displays on dinosaurs. As you can tell, he was enthusiastic about the pleisosaurs. There were also displays that showed skeletons on one side and skin on the other.

Here Samuel has assumed his tantrum position. He was tired and so he lay on the floor whining. Joseph joined him for good measure.

The museum had a Da Vinci invention display area. It was a lot of fun to see his creations, including life size models of his armored tank and helicopter. He was a man inspired by nature. We bought an ornament here for our tree.

We checked into our hotel and then I bathed the boys. We watched a show called American Pickers and House Hunters. We relaxed and enjoyed our stay. Samuel cried a bit before he finally fell asleep and then he was up at 7. I forgot how much I enjoy cable TV. We showered and relaxed. Bozeman is really nice. It has a nice art district and is a place that wouldn't be bad to live at all.

I love that Samuel assumes the tantrum position. That's hilarious.
